Twenty shows strung from late July to Thanksgiving week, and the band spent a lot of 2025 saying goodbye to people. Asheville closed on July 26 with a first-ever "War Pigs," one of several nightly Black Sabbath nods after Ozzy Osbourne's death that month, with old friend John Keane sitting in across the run.

Halloween was the set piece. At Savannah's Enmarket Arena the band went full Alice in Wonderland — John Bell as the Cheshire Cat, Dave Schools as the Executioner, Duane Trucks as the Queen of Hearts — and stacked the night with covers debuts: "Down in a Hole," "Who Are You," "You're Lost Little Girl," "White Rabbit," and a "Black Hole Sun" encore. Under the costumes was the real news for the stat-heads: "Free Somehow" shaken loose after 587 shows — the biggest gap this site clocked all tour — and "Crazy" back for the first time since New Year's 2016.

The run ended at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester over three November nights, the band's first time back at The Cap since 2019. Warren Haynes turned up on the 22nd for "Cortez the Killer" and "Running Down a Dream," and the finale on the 23rd gave a first-ever "Play a Train Song," a Todd Snider tune played in tribute the week after Snider — Schools' old Hard Working Americans bandmate — passed. A lot of hellos to old songs, and a lot of goodbyes to old friends.
